C.F.L.T. is governed by its Operation Organization which was voted by the University Senate in 1997. The Board of Directors holds a two-year term and is composed of three Faculty members from the Teaching and Research Staff at  Professor or Associate Professor rank in accordance with articles 6 and 8, paragraph (b) of the Operation Organization of the C.F.L.T. These members are proposed by the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and are elected by the University Senate. Additionally, the Board includes four elected members from the teaching staff of C.F.L.T., representing the four languages taught, two student representatives, and the General Assembly, comprising all members of the teaching staff. The General Assembly has the authority to delegate responsibilities to the Board of Directors.
